Kimball Midwest moves up three spots from last year. This past May, Columbus CEO
Magazine named it one of the top workplaces in the Columbus, OH metro area. The
company formally opened its Savannah, GA distribution center in March 2015.
Increasing its 2015 sales by 6.1 percent, Tencarva climbs three spots from last
year. The company’s Greenville, SC branch is now fully settled in at its new, larger
location there. On Aug. 1, Tencarva closed on an acquisition of Brookhaven, MS-based Dixie Pump & Machine Works.
Hydradyne acquired the Brookhaven, MS-based duo of Gatlin Corp. and Seal Group
back in February, expanding its capabilities in fluid power systems fabrication and
repair service and sealing.
Valin moves up three spots on the list despite a small sales decrease in 2015. This
past June, president and CEO Joe Nettemeyer was honored by NAW’s Institute for
Distribution Excellence as a “board member for life.”
IBT climbs four spots from last year. The company just recently moved its Oklahoma
City branch to a larger location there. Michael Flannery started as CEO last
Shively Bros. made one acquisition in 2015 and opened a new branch. The company
just recently launched its e-commerce website, iBuyShivelySupply.com. The company
notes continued growth in its diversity partnership with Shively Diversified
Management Services, as well as expansion in Mexico.
