Interline Brands, a Jacksonville, FL-based distributor, announced in July that it would
be acquired by Home Depot for a price of $1.63 billion.
DXP Enterprises cited two key acquisitions in 2014 – including Machinery Tooling &
Supply and B27, LLC – and posted a sales boost from $1.2 billion on our 2013 list, to
$1.5 billion a year later.
Kaman Industrial Technologies posted a 12 percent increase compared to 2013.
“2014 was an important year for our distribution segment as we continued to build
momentum,” said Neal Keating, president, chairman and CEO of the Kaman Corp.,
in a conference call with analysts after releasing its 2014 fourth quarter earnings
and year-end report.
