rebounded in 2018, growing almost 8 percent in Q2 on the strength of higher sales
of bearings products.
38. Kimball Midwest

Kimball moves up four spots from last year as its 2017 sales grew nearly 6 percent.
Chas McCurdy was recently promoted to chief sales officer and Patrick McCurdy
III was promoted to VP of sales. The company was named No. 37 on Selling Power
Magazine’s 2018 “50 Best Companies to Sell For”.
39. Bossard North America
2017 Sales: $234 million
CEO/President: Steen Hansen
Headquarters: Cedar Falls, IA
Switzerland-based Bossard’s U.S. sales jumped more than 18 percent in 2017, and
grew 4. 5 percent in the first half of 2018, with the U.S. accounting for 27 percent
of the company’s Q2 sales. Current CEO David Dean will step down from his post on
April 8 of 2019, to be succeeded by Dr. Daniel Bossard.
