Being located in rural Iowa, Long says new visiting
customers’ expectations of the company’s capabilities and
operations are often tailored down.
“When customers come here, they’re typical reaction
is, ‘oh, this isn’t what I expected,’” Long says. “They

technology available in manufacturing — from
equipment, to software, to quality inspection, to design,

have all this in the middle of the cornfields.”
