BY ABBIGAIL KRIEBS
In a recent study titled “Dealing with Disruption” by PwC, fifty-seven percent of transportation and logistics CEOs said that one of their top investment priorities over the next six
to twelve months was for improving operational effectiveness.
This does not sound dissimilar to the goals of distributors on the
heels of our annual Distributor of Operations Survey (May/June
2013). And, as these two industries continue to work together

rise, it could not be a better time for both industries to be mov-
ing in the direction of a common goal.
